Some of the used 4x4 passenger vans are from ski resorts/hotels or mining companies
I have seen some conversion vans with a tire carrier that bolts to the hinge and then through the door metal. Not good for big tires or rough roughs for sure!
Anyone have ideas on how to mount one 5-gallon gerry can on the back similar to an Aluminess system?
I bring a small container of fresh milk, some small cans of milk and powdered milk.
I don't like having open containers of stuff that can leak in the ice chest so the small cartons of milk are good for morning coffee.
The bed rug/bed mats look nice and fit well. you can also get the kit that covers the side walls and wheel wells.
Plywood and some cheap carpet remnants and carpet padding. I have done that many times I have done that for different rigs.
I carry metric and standard sockets in 3/8" and 1/2' and metric and standard wrenches in my tool bag.

I went out to Malarimo Beach in the early 80's and it was still very remote and hard to find your way.

What a great trip. I was lucky to have a Dad that got me into camping and 4x4 trips at an early age. Some great times :)
We had a Willys Wagon for years and did a few Baja trips.
