    90 to 110

No offense to the LC crowd but I can't fathom seeing myself driving something that has no personality. I've always driven vehicles that are not mainstream. I also can't see the use in spending a ton of money on something that has no personality. I would rather buy a used 110 and rebuild it...

    90 to 110

Been thinking... yeah, I know... dangerous.:victory: But here goes anyway: since my family seems to keep growing (early next year we will be at 5 children) I am in need of new transportation. Neither my wife and I are the mini-van type so we need something else. I'm not really into the big...

    Apology

Yum, I think I will make this for dinner tonight. Best to try new things at home. Easier to order pizza at home than if you are out on the trail.

    locking case???

I suggest NOT a Pelican or Storm case as it often implies wealth in less fortunate countries, thus making you a target. Perhaps an old lockable military case but paint it so they don't think you are paramilitary or CIA (don't laugh, it happens).

Do these new shoes make me look fat...

265/75's will stuff quite nicely in a DII. If you find a bit of rubbing, just get some longer DayStar bumpstops from 4WheelParts. Or just throw on a nice 2" OME lift. Oh, and I like the look with the flares.

2+ Inch lift kit Land Rover

Nice! I have the 3" RTE on my rangie. Love it. I went with the longer OME shocks that they put on the LC's. I have 4" more travel than the "regular" OME or Bilsteins. Call Keith (revor) and have him make you some trailing arms to match your springs.

    Wheel Spacers good or bad?

Martyn, you are absolutely correct. I should have clarified "rims with more backspacing than stock" from whatever vehicle we are talking about. Usually we talk about a rim having backspacing if it is different than a stock rim. Good catch and good call for clarification!

    Wheel Spacers good or bad?

I can only answer with wisdom that has been passed on to me but not by any experience or technical knowledge of my own: I have heard you should not run spacers on rims with backspacing. Spacers allow you to run rims without backspacing.

Axle, diff & locker input needed

Excellent point. Perhaps it is the American way of thinking that "bigger is better" that often leads us down the path of overbuilding our rigs.
