    Almost guaranteed its your belt Nissan was nice enough to provide 3 belts on these engines, I believe the AC belt is the further from the front, so you might as well replace them all while you are in there

    The Danner Light (not mtb light) models have a fabric patch on the side if you are worried about heat, but for me the one piece leather upper with a single stitch up the heel is a major seller

    I was a little worried but not at all, even during heavy activity. I always wear wool socks with which helps, even though it is counter-intutive I haven't worn them in any 100oF days yet but in a few that have been close and I was perfectly fine.
