Yeah, my problem is, I need ones that are only 10" tall and the shortest I can find are 14". Most are 18".

Yeah, in a similar situation as well. One option might be to get the 18" deep ones and have a local fab shop cut the back off and narrow the box and reweld the back on. Should be fairly straight forward for any fab shop and likely not cost a ton of money to do.

I think his point was, in his opinion $200,000 for a rig build is not a "poor mans" anything. Sure compared to a Earth Roamer is might be cheap but that would be the same lines of saying an Earth Roamer is cheap compared to a 747 airliner. All comes down to your own perspective. Interested to...

Thanks for the info. I have been going back and forth between Raptor lining my rig or using Baer exterior paint and rolling on (this is very commonly done with the military vehicle crowd). Baer paint is way cheaper but Raptor will be more durable.

For those 1998 and newer if diesel and 1976 and new if gas. All 3 rigs I bought from out of state were '97 or earlier diesel so no smog needed. :)

Actually you both are right. I have been in both shoes of dealing with out of state vehicle registrations and using AAA. Went through this when purchasing both of my M1010's and Ram truck. IF you bought the vehicle out of state from a PRIVATE party, AAA will be more than happy to work with...
