Perhaps replacing batteries isn't an issue for you. I charge the lamp on the way to a camp spot and it lasts for the season. All batteries will eventually corrode, just my opinion and I am sure someone will chime in and say they have never seen it. Some folks like to shop at Costco and spend...
I use this one either in the back of the LR or in my tent cot.

You don't seem to get it, the world is not your playground anymore. STAY HOME so you don't kill someone. You irresponsible people going out are putting everyone that you contact in jeopardy.
Travel during the lockdown (in US) is ill advised as it may put folks in those towns that you pass through in jeopardy. When the state (CO) is requiring that folks stay home it is best to do so. There are some states here that are not requiring that folks stay home but there are those that do...
I also have extra gaskets for the spout but it is also just as easy to take it out and turn it over to reinstate the seal. As long as the gasket is not cracked it will seal fine.
actually they appear to be the same construction so you might just paint the ones for gas red to avoid confusion. That is a great price. I once bought 4 of the green Nato cans for gas at $10 ea from a guy that was buying them military surplus by the pallet load when I went to a North West...
Don't use them for gas, use them for water as they are designed. Get the ones for gas, a mistake could be a tremendous problem later down the road.
I had one several years ago, now I use the Scepter cans for water.
I have two of these that really light up the camp area

I have most things, a Coleman lantern, battery lights and solar lights. The Coleman has a glass insert and is a bit fragile so it doesn't go too often, needs fuel. I have a pole for it but only used it once on the pole. It is really too bright. It is great for heat.
The battery lights are both...
I have this but have not used it yet.

I also have this, although very similar to the Zodi it can be heated on my cup stove.
Looked at their stuff. Looked at the hats, all of their hats have such small brims. Want something with 4.5 to 5 inch brim, really difficult to get a decent wide brim hat.
I don't have an Alubox but I use a short medical chest that I purchased from a surplus outlet and fabricated a similar device to secure it to the Front Runner rack on my LR. It is water and dust proof and also easily removable.
Thanks for this. Used to go out there a lot when I lived in SD. Really was a trip through time for me, it has been many years since I have seen this beautiful place.
I sometimes prepare the whole meal and vacuum seal it and heat it later on the trail, minus any liquid stuff.
I also have one of these to prep the meal while I drive to my first camp in case I arrive too late and do not really want to cook...
Even the guy that invented the Keurig system said how disappointed he was that there was so much plastic waste. Did not think of it when he started. I never bought one as I like more than one cup at a time in the AM. Camping I use a percolator type of pot that seems to make reasonable tasting...
