I think that's fairly logical, as long as you can physically fit the filter in the area. Bypass valve pressure might be a bit different between models, but we aren't working with anything exotic here.
Not to answer for the OP, but i'll give my $.02 worth. I have a '17 crew cab Pro4X. I was originally looking for a club cab so i could have the longer bed, but my primary requirement was a manual transmission and i found a crew cab first.
I really only wanted the longer bed to carry a...
35" tires, limited slip front diff and locking rear diff, 1.5" lift all from the factory, all sounds pretty good to me. I wouldn't be able to fit a Raptor down the trails i hit, definitely wouldn't be able to fit an F250. I like the idea though
No argument, they are great tires. I've ran them in the past on a few vehicles. There is a reason they sell well. They don't look cool like a KO2, but they drive much better on road. Only issue i have with them is the relatively soft sidewall and tread giving a bit of a squishly handling...
I towed significantly more than 2k lbs a few times with my '12 JKR 6-speed, stock 4.10s (later 4.88s) on 35s. It did fine, just take your time. The short wheelbase it what kills you. The motor has plenty of power and the brakes are acceptable but not fantastic.
Did you read that owners manual? My Dometic stated in the owners manual to let the fridge sit for a few hours before starting if it's been sitting anything but horizontal. That's a common thing with fridges, all fridges.
I also run OME. I have ARB front and rear bumpers, winch, sliders, cap, etc. Started out running heavies up front, medium in the rear. I ended up adding a 1/2" spacer up front and adding the extra ARB leaf to make the rears a heavy pack. I have SPC UCAs, so no contact although i did still...
Hopefully the battery is the issue. I've had no issues with my Dometic in my Frontier sitting for 3 days while camping. I was monitoring voltage to see how it'd do .
Also might be worth checking the parasitic draw in your JK. I have a ford edge i'll leave my fridge in too. If i leave the...
That's the primary reason i don't want to sleep in the bed of the truck. I like to be able to throw all of my crap in there and not have to pull it all out to sleep.
You didn't happen to weigh a tire before installing, did you? The weights they list seem weird. The 255/80 is showing 52.5 lbs, the smaller 265/75 weighs 52.9 lbs, both e rated. A C rated 275/70 weighs a whole 4.5 lbs HEAVIER at 57.1 lbs. The largest tire (albiet slightly narrower) weighs...
