    1998 Aliner Off-Road edition

Yes, it's aluminum. It's been a great first camper. I've gone on trips that I wouldn't have otherwise because of the ability to be dry and heated. The van with a sleeping loft and Portable Buddy Heater has cut into the nights spent in the Aliner. I'm going racing this weekend and I'll...

Really nice work. I never would have guessed that this was your first major fabrication project.

    1998 Aliner Off-Road edition

It bounced like crazy down this road. Even aired down to 15 psi and going slow, most of the time anyway. So in this photo, see where the brown slush is piled up on the edges of the front? Well that's also where the trim is all cracked from dirt and gravel pelting it. All the...

    1998 Aliner Off-Road edition

It's been one year since I've posted to this thread. I've mostly just been using the camper as is. I bought a digital thermostat that works better, less temperature swing between turning on and off compared to the mechanical one it came with. The refrigerator doesn't work with AC, DC or...

Ford E350 wheels, also, anyone have pics of 255/85R-16 on an Econoline Van?

Looks good from that angle, I'd love to see more photos.

Ford E350 wheels, also, anyone have pics of 255/85R-16 on an Econoline Van?

I think you're confusing tire size with load rating. There are load range E available in all the sizes mentioned so far in this thread. I'm currently on 245/75-16 (stock sized) and looking to go up to 255/85-16, both load range E.

Hmm, looks a bit goofy with that open front bumper. I'm on 245/75-16 right now though. If I had a tube front bumper it would look pretty funny. I'm sure I would need a lot less backspacing to fit 285/75-16.

    LED Light Bar Placement

I put my 40" curved light bar way up high. I thought I wanted to have it at more of a downward angle but I ended up tilting it higher to fill in above my HID headlights for super long distance driving. The curved bar helps light up the ditches regardless of being pointed up or down. It lights...

http://bend.craigslist.org/wto/5459306953.html Will these Alcoas fit my van? As far as I've read, the pre super-duty F250 and F350 stuff will fit. How is the backspacing? I'm looking to fit 255/85-16 size tires on my van with the Weldtec Octillo Cruiser kit.

FOX Steering Stabilizer kit for E_Series (WTD)

Ok so I just did another 4000 mile trip in my Motovan fully loaded, Redmond OR to South of Mulege and back again plus side trips. I want the steering stabilizer for highway cruising. The bump steer doesn't bother me much in the dirt but it does on the highway. Did I just do the trip fine...
