I spent almost double that to get a wheelchair van with a high top and tall rear doors. I haul motorcycles a lot and I wanted the tall doors, windows, a.c. cruise control, power windows and locks. I got it all plus rear heat and air conditioning.
That was cool to see the spring swap. I've considered doing something similar to my Aliner, except using junkyard springs from a small pickup like a Ranger or Tacoma for even more travel. If I stick with 245/75-16 sized tires on the Motovan, I'd run the same tires and wheels on the camper...

It's just a Curt front receiver and a portable winch cradle with a 9,000 pound T-Max competition winch from another project. It's pretty low, but I haven't scraped it on the ground too many times. I'm changing to a WeldTec bumper anyways.
