    Military color scheme

I would never even try to take my Pinzgauer to Mexico as it was painted OD. Just wasn't worth the possible trouble. It was actually a military vehicle, although not from this (US) country.

    Yaesu FT7900r help!

Have not noticed this issue with mine, but then I only use a few channels and have none preset as you do. If you bought it at a HAMM shop take it in and ask them. If you bought it off internet, you're probably screwed.

Has anyone gone from a drawer system back to a simpler way of storage in their vehicles?

My LR now has the front runner drawer system. I removed the third row seats which were just about the weight of the drawer system so not much difference. What I put in them I would have put into something that would have added more weight so it comes off to be a trade off.

    Decisions, decisions

I have a Front Runner and yes they are noisy (at speeds over 35MPH) but there is an air foil that FR sells that makes them very quiet. The reason FR racks are noisy is that the bars that hold your possessions on are perpendicular to the wind and create air noise. Try for a rack that the bars are...

Rotopax - Is there something better I should be using?

Same expansion happens when I climb in altitude in CO and the sun beating on my Nato cans on the roof rack. Have to be careful when I open them so the opening isn't toward me. But, still they do not leak. My Sceptor cans do. edit: conversely if I open them at altitude and then go lower or it...

    Train horn

I do remember when stationed in Naval station Memphis in the 60's it was illegal to use your car horn. Many disconnected the horn to avoid sounding it accidentally, now there was a great idea.

    Train horn

Often thought of adding a diesel rig horn but not a train horn. Went to a salvage yard and bought a big truck horn to add a bit of clout to my wimpy LR horn.

Need some schooling on 2010ish Land Rover Range Rover HSE

I have not heard any good things about synthetic (from friend that is a Rover tech) in Rovers. Use the oil that the Rover book recommends it isn't that much. A few more $ on good oil will be worth it in the long run. Get the oil change kit from Atlantic British, filters and drain plugs. Don't...
