It's on the end of the housing from where it bolts up. Remove the anti-tamper cap, then the outer cap. Inside is a little screw that has a allen key slot in the end and a lock nut to stop it from turning. Loosen lock nut and screw in too increase fuel. I went in 1 3/4 turns on mine. It is a 4D33...
This I all ready know.
I actually went and saw to the man that built it (near Atherton) with the thought of offering to buy it from him but he had allready sold it to a gent in Cairns (some 10 months earlier), who by his telling would never sell it. When I get home (Gladstone) I see it is for...
Well I know this Thread is old but I have been plugging away in the background.
The divider box ( two tailshafts out to the rear) has been designed (not built yet). It will have 2WD (front rear axle) - Both rear axles full time drive (centre diff) - Both rear axles locked together. Most parts...
If you look closely at the video that those pics were taken from they are actually not on the track but were driving parallel to it which they tell you never to do because the track even though covered in water is more solid than the ground around it.
They apparently have enough supplies for at...
Personally at an OHV park I believe it is acceptable but otherwise certainly not.
What wheels are they on Earthcruiser? On Canter diffs or Others?
Dan.
Okay, like I said pictures don't tell the whole story. And sorry, I'm not going to pull mine apart to see what holds it together. When you do find out please let us all know.
Dan.
First drive the flat tyre up on to a suitable block of wood to raise it high enough to get the jack under the axle/spring plate. Under the spring near the axle tube is also a suitable position for jacking.
That 12 tonner is way over kill for a canter, we're not trying to lift the whole vehicle...
A little bit of light grease will hold the springs and the plate in place and together while you try to reinsert it in it's place. But don't shake it while you have it upside down. What clips it together I don't know. One spring is twisted and the plate looks like it is melted on one edge...
I don't do it the way the manual says but it is correct. I do it by feel been doing it for years.
A piece of string wrapped around the wheel studs and pull it with a spring scale. It should start to rotate at 4 -7.7 Lbs pull and if you keep pulling it, the scale should settle at 2.2 +/- 0.7...
Glad you brought this thread here to this forum.
I've been watching. Lots of info but being as it it is common rail, I don't have a lot of info.
The photos are bad but the two electrical connectors look to be the ones for "high and low range" and "4WD" switches. If you follow the wires do they...
You should put this it in the :- https://expeditionportal.com/forum/forums/japanese-heavy-truck-mitsubishi-and-isuzu.72/ thread.
There it will get better coverage.
Yes, you don't need to remove the drive flange so don't loosen it and yes, I have reused the O-ring before. It seals between the flange and the output shaft, if you were worried about a leak there you could use a little sealant on it. I reuse the nuts all the time no big problem, they are only...
My biggest fuel economy increase was when I regeared my transfer case. Made close to 2 Litres/100K's improvement highway cycle. Improved offroad ability also with lower Low Range gearing.

They may be Fuso specific but saying that they look like normal pins with a U-shaped wafer washer (could use springs and washer instead). This I have seen in other brake setups. The pin length would be the biggest concern.
