Just to muddy the waters further, I think tc's that use a viscuous coupler (like a clutch) can be damaged in fwd only mode. My plain jane 231 with sye has been run that way several times with no issues.

I use both these trucks offroad, but mostly the jeep 36x12.5 x15 on the 90 Jeep YJ 305/75/r16 (34ish) on the 04 F250

We've had several threads lately which have gotten into the topic of ideal tire size. I'm curious what people are using. What do you have on your offroad, overland, trail, or expedition vehicle? You metric guys please estimate in inches.

I have an SK 1/2" socket set that was my grandfathers, it's at least 50 years old and the quality matches the new craftsman stuff. I don't know how the new SK stuff is but, I think Craftsman has the best availibility and price. The quality is good enough for me.

Have you considered a headlamp? I only take a lantern now if there will be a large group.

This is a tom woods shaft that was machined for greater angle. It came with fittings in the caps, I rebuilt it with a fitting in the cross joint and promptly mashed it. If there's a chance I put it in wrong, then I propably did:) Thanks for the links guys, I am going to order the flush...
