Also when you break a rear driveshaft, you can simply unbolt it and continue in FWD. If you remove a slip yoke style shaft, the fluid drains out of the TC. SYEs typically allow for a longer rear DS too.

Big 10-4, I scoped that out last year. The upper side of the main road has some nice open spots for ground tents. I'm picturing 3-5 spots. The trees are huge so there is not much/any brush. We may need to fashion a swiss family robinson style log bridge, as the ditch is rather mucky.
