    Tent for long term use

I would also go for an Oztent, I have setup a 4 person size one by my self a number of times and the canvas stays cool in the Arizona desert yet will keep of the rain with no problems. Also the front gives good shade for sitting outside yet staying dry. It will pack nicely in the bed of a...

Trasharoo - Knock-off - Clearance Promark Brand Heavy Duty Trail Bag

Dave & Yoshi of Trasharoo are Expo members who contribute trip reports, knowledge and are generally all around great people. I would spend the extra money just to support a small, US based operation who is doing what so many of us wish we could. And honestly the price difference if spread out...

WTB Dual Sport under 650cc for my son

Howdy One and All, So now both my boys are on motos and of course that meant I needed a ride...which resulted in this as a Spring Break pic from a few days ago. Yeah my 1 legged butt is on the cruiser as I need something peg forward. As you can see we have an odd mix of bikes there :) My...

    The Cactus Red mod thread.

Great to hear that your rig is still running strong as I know you get your money's worth out of your toys. I know this isn't directly related to Cactus Red but are you still happy with your Antigravity jump start pack? I am looking for something small that can go between my Burb and moto's for...

    Window Tint - Pros/Cons/Opinions/Examples

Carbon XP Suntek http://www.suntekfilms.com/automotive/automotive-cxp.aspx Wicked heat blocking, to the point that I will put in on every vehicle I own going forward as long as I live somewhere like Phoenix :) And I can see out of it at night just fine because I didn't have to go very dark and...

    Window Tint - Pros/Cons/Opinions/Examples

I went with some of the new UV/heat blocking tint on my 70 suburban since I have square acres of glass. It doesn't block that much light when I am driving at night yet it makes a HUGE difference in the inferno known as a Phoenix summer. Even did the windshield and I am super happy. You can see...

    1972 Chevy C-20 Truck

Looking good and glad to see you will be spending more time driving than wrenching. Always great to keep these rigs around from our days gone by rather than just looking at pics and wishing they had never been sold.

    Manual sink faucet pumps

I have used that bottom chrome one a couple of times and I like that I can fit a clear hose to the faucet itself to direct water somewhere else if I need. Will work great for years and cheap if you need to replace it...can be found around the US at most RV shops

HJ45 Troop Carrier with Trakka Pop-Top

Now that these are past the 25yr old import rule it will be great to see more of them in the USA...but I doubt we will see many with that cool a pop top as they are not common in australia. Great looking rig and having owned a RHD myself it is fun just as a daily driver. Check out the...

    "RDV" Rapid Deployment Vehicle"

Bug Out Vehicle is the normal term used in the prepparedness circles for this type of thing. All my 4wd's have been kept in a ready to roll state as much as possible since I got into the hobby. Other than times when I was doing mod's and stuff had to be out of the rig I try to keep all the...
