great updates from all of you guys....I am sure it really helps those who have been waiting and for those thinking about a Habitat.
All the parts look top notch and it will be nice to see it again at the Expo
Now this looks like a really nice outing with a great group of people...
thanks for taking us along with the pics & blog
The Inyos is not an area I had heard of but now I want to go explore...thanks!
Good on you for getting out there with the kids and making memories....they will treasure this time later in life as much as you treasure your time with them now.
Great pics and good story telling to go with it.
I am missing my trasharoo ever since I bought my suburban...just another reason to build a swingout tire carrier...a great place to hang my trasharoo :)
Now we are getting to some meaty post, thanks Scott.
Good to see the rigs getting a workout in the snow and interesting tidbit on the 8k wgt...is that with 2 people, fuel and all or a dry wgt?
I understand your reasons for winter travel & if I could handle the cold it seems like an amazing...
I might be interested in your old filter setup for my 6.2 project. I did to work out something and here in Arizona I am not as worried about fuel heating :)
My biggest concern is quality of filter as I go to mexico and lots of way remote areas where fuel might sit or have water.
Paul as always I am impressed by your skill....
but I have a few questions:
How will the fridge be accessed?
It looks like it opens from the middle of the rig towards the pass side and that means trying to reach in from the pass rear door but the fridge door might hit the roof. At a min I...
I remember well your first Arctic Trip Scot with Chris & Pasquale and on that trip you drove on a frozen river & over the ocean as it was a ROAD.
This pic clearly looks like you backed into thin ice and broke through to get a cool look....again it is the difference between a real, self financed...
thanks for posting and let me join the others in saying you will be a huge resource around here.
It is great to have your perspective on so many things and your knowledge of the area is going to come in handy for myself & others.
I am looking forward to the rest of your report
Howdy Eric,
Great to have you here on Expo and it would be nice to see a pic of your Bronco so folks understand why this was such a special thing for you.
I have a ton more pics and video to sort, edit & post. Today is my son's Eagle Court of Honor so I will get busy on monday working on...
I think with the prep work on the Expeditions & rigs, the pending Overland Expo and who knows what else the crew at Adventure Trailers, Nemo, and Ecamper are all too busy to chime in...
At least I hope that is the case. I have to say I have been impressed how calm and supportive all the people...
As referenced the pic was staged and so the rig was backed into water on purpose it looks like. Just saying it is something that could be used against our community.
There will be plenty of real water crossings for these guys and an amazing amount of adventure I am sure, all of which is legit...
While I think is it super cool that you guys are doing this trip I am gonna have to say that the staged pic of the rig in the water is what is all wrong about having the "media" along for 4wd travel.
A legit water crossing is one thing, that is part of the trail.
Backing a rig into water just...
Great to hear on the vendors & gear for sale...
Better news on all the old friends I will get to see and the new friends I will get to make...
Gonna be a great time!
I just adding a quick update to Todd Z's thread on his Bronco that was in the event...I know I had a ton of fun as a chase rig and I will go back year after year for a long time to come if I can make it happen...
Ok we are all back home safe & sound and now comes the pic & video sorting/editing/writing part
But rather than make you wait forever I figured I would through out some more teasers to hold everyone over until the full story comes together.
A few choice items...
What happens when a software...
Quick update from Baja on some weak wifi :)
Here are our 2 Day 1 Men of Action...Todd is the tall one and Nick is next to him
And here they are as Men of Action in Motion
Cool ol' Cruiser...great guy & gal running this rig Sean & Rhonda
Oh this give me way too many wrong ideas
What the...
I was impressed with Waymon's welding and setup on our quick overnight run...we hit plenty of washboard and mild trail stuff so he should be happy that things will hold up.
Now we just need a week long adventure to really test things out :)
I would say you are looking at a logistical issue...
You want to do an activity and not deal with urination during that time.
So I would get your Dr to understand that you need to straight cath ONLY before doing the activity (not on a multi-time a day basis) and if he writes a script you can...
