Adding a winch and bumper I would upgrade anything I can on that IFS set up.

The limiting factor of any gm truck is the IFS, beware of that. Before going too deep into your build. Look at ARB, I think they make a GM bumper, for a winch go with warn, get at least a 10k, I wouldn’t worry about blocking anything.

Looks good! Nitro makes the best gears in my opinion, you may get some whine at break in, I did, it went away at 1000 miles or so.

I bet it is, btw it’s not very common. I had a few free oil changed at the dealer when I got my truck, they didn’t even grease it.

Totally different animal, not comparable. 4:30 gears work great with 37 inch or grater tires. With 4:30 gears and 37’s, I’m running 1900 rpms at 80 mph.

Nice headlights, I take it they are finally shipping out after the long wait? Did you have to wire in the DRL? I thought they were plug in play, why do you need a resistor for turn signals on non led equipped trucks if they are truly plug in play. I like the allot... but not enough to spend...

Il be honest, I drive my truck like a sports car, with the carli suspension it handles damn good for a heavy truck, plus it’s loaded down allot. I think I’m gonna realign it with 0.00 of tow, throw some 37x13.50 and call it a day.

Your right that will cause it, I don’t have any play in them. I think I may have found the problem, I pulled the alignment sheet, it has .16 of toe. According to thuren specs, he states run .000 of toe, I think this may be the cause, or at least hope so.

So my Toyo rt’s are getting extremely loud, they sound like a worn out set of super swampers. I also got some weird wear on them no one can figure out, the outer edges of th tires on the tread you can feel a bump in the tread. The truck is aligned perfectly and the tires have worn otherwise...

I love the gm gas 6.0, but it’s a dog, not much power and horrible gas mileage... but it lasts. With gm you get ifs, which sucks for lifts, bigger tires and off-road. The ford super duties have come along way from where they y are decent with the 6.2 gas. I personally would prefer a power wagon.

What brand gears did you order? 5:13 with 40’s might just be perfect for a gas truck.

The grease looks ok spec wise, their website doesn’t list the specs automatically which is telling to me, looks more like marketing gymic at its finest. I think the grease is fair at best and there is much better options.
