    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

Touche on the bloody train haha! That's AWESOME. However, it doesn't answer why a ram 3/4 ton has 1000lb+ less payload capacity than a ford 3/4 ton. Why are the coil springs rated so much less? Even your dodge, has a 1380lb door sticker in a regular cab medium box, one of the best combo's for...

    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

It's irrefutable coil springs do not handle weight very well. I encourage you to show me examples of heavy duty trucks running them. One ton or bigger. There are zero. Also, you're towing MAYBE 5000lbs. Try doubling that. See how those coils do. Coil springs are great for ride quality and...

    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

For a sports car, sure, but nobody in their right mind wants a coil sprung rear end for a truck that hauls weight...

    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

Well said, i've been fighting the 1/2 ton 1 ton thing for years, 80% of the time i'm empty, which is when a one ton SUCKS to drive, but the other 20% I have a 10k+lb trailer on, or a 1200lb quad + 800lb's of gear in the truck. I've settled with a capable half ton and it's performed admirably...

Experience of Daily driving a Ram HD on 37s+ with small lift

Of course they add to the physical payload capacity. Safety sally's love to scream that they don't, but they absolutely do. It's kinda strange, jump on a tacoma forum and people have 3000lb hardside truck campers in the bed, but jump on a different forum and people say you can't put a four wheel...

    Why no Ram 1500 Builds!

It seems like ram guys prefer 22x14's and subs over 35's and airbags. Dunno.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

Well this is seriously disappointing, I tried to order my new truck today, and realized I screwed up my dates. Final build out was a couple days ago. Damnit. Not sure what to do now.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

I love em as well. When these wear out i'll try something else just for fun, but i'll probably end up dumping them shortly and going back to old faithful KO2's. lol.

    2023 Ford Raptor- Continuation

It depends on the application, they wore like Iron, nice and quiet, great on hardpack snow and ice, however they did not work for me as I need deep snow/mud performance as well, and they were lackluster. Not the tires fault, it's just not designed for it. Not much void space. I gave them to my...

    2015 f150 transmission issues?

The 6R80 is a very tough transmission, 90% of the time the issue can be rectified with a fluid change (Unless it's an electrical issue)

Help me find my next truck. Ford 7.3 or Ram 5.9

Both trucks will have the tranny as the weak ish spot, dodge more so than ford. Playing devil's advocate, what about a newer V10/6.2 Ford gasser?

2020 Ram 5500 DIY Composite Panel Camper Build Thread

Very cool! I had always thought (uneducated about this sort of thing) that the air suspension kits like these were for those 24x14 with rubber band tire car show losers, I had no idea ambulances ran their kit, and they had any sort of real weight capacity. Makes me consider a one ton truck...
