Saw this in a hotel parking lot earlier today. A whole Ford crew is on-site with a number of mules, some covered, and chase vehicles. Talked to one of the guys for a bit about. He said that the Ranger Raptor will come stateside soon.

I know people who also use this practice. A similar practice is to use purification tablets, but not wait the hour or so. There are two general problems, assuming that the bleach/tablet does it's hygiene job, taste and sediment. I personally don't care for either. In this scenario, sediment...

Interesting analysis. Thank you. FWIW, I have been using various version of PUR and MSR filters for decades in NA without any ill effects.

Did you consider something like a PUR Hiker or MSR Microfilter to filter the water from the trailer? Thinking aloud, it may be less expensive and more efficient ... The other possibility is purification tablets, which eliminates pumping all together, assuming you have time to wait.

Stumbled across this Dahl video, and bridging is discussed. He suggests stacking 3 to 4 MAXTRAX for safely bridging. Hadn't thought of that, but then I only carry 2.

I recently drank from the CO2 / Powertank KoolAid Pitcher, Oh Yeah!, and am now a convert. Maybe, think about a CO2 system. Not having to spend 15-20 minutes airing up after a long hot day ... priceless. Another KoolAid err PowerTank convert...

I realize that we are digressing a bit from the OP's thread, but ... that was just painful to watch. I cannot imagine that the CVT will withstand such use over time. TFL plans to eventually sell that Outback. I like Roman and his crew, but Caveat Emptor still applies.
