New Autohome Maggiolina/Columbus tent, the AirTop

Rob - I am not sure on the cost - depends on what we have to pay, plus freight and duty, etc. I will check on nets for a large as well. M

The cargo net is suspended from snaps that engage eight loops that are stitched into the join at the top of the side fabric. (three on each side and two at the front). With just a little effort the cargo net could be made to retrofit existing Maggiolina. I can get the nets in small and medium...

Offroad trailer Vs Roof tent MPG

Like many things there is no absolute answer to the question that the original poster asked. This is a conversation that I have frequently with customers and prospective customers. here is what I have learned from customers and from my own experiences. 1. Trailers are great for hauling gear...

    Maggolina on Trailer & Dust

I have used a Maggiolina on a trailer and it was dust proof. The upper shell has a gasket seal that engages to top of the bottom platform and seals very well - provided you pay attention to adjustment of the draw latches. FWIW, I sell these things, so take that into consideration. M

That is the "Company Cruiser" my 80 series. The rear ladder and can carrier was fabbed by Andy at Mudrak Custom Cruisers, and has a CampaUSA stainless can carrier box on a hinged, drop down platform next to the ladder. The bumper is Kaymar, as is the spare tire carrier.

    Toyo M-55

I bought a set (5) of M55's in 285/75/R16E about a year ago from Les Schwab. They have been running for about 18,000 miles on my F350. I am completely satisfied with the performance on road and off and there is little, if any, detectable wear. They work well in mud, snow, ice, and dry pavement...

    Roof Rack mounting options

I suggest a Thule or Yakima track system with towers and cross bars. The Mule works best with Thule bars, I believe. I have an ARE with tracks and towers from Yakima. Nice set-up.

There is currently no provision of the 'need a crank' security of the other Maggiolinas. The latches are a new type that work very slick, but they do not have locks. I am looking into a good solution.

    Costco Tire issues/questions

Tires have a lot of 'flexibility' in pricing. You can take a Tire Tack quote/price to almost any tire store and get the same deal. I bought my last set of tires (285/75/R16 Toyo M55s) at Les Schwab in Baker City, Oregon... good price, no sales tax, excellent service and no BS about 'too big'...

Camper Shells: your experiences and suggestions

Mark I have been happy with my ARE. I have made serious alterations to it - I built in 4 dog boxes, added a Yakima track system, and some other stuff. The solid side thick top and $800 price made it a good choice for the F350 4X4 hunting truck.

    LC 100 tires 285 75 R16

Bridgestone Revos in 285/75/R16 on my TLC. Best combination tire I have tried. I have run MTRs. M55's, Goodyears. Michelins, Off brands, etc.

    Dual Battery Splitter

"When all else fails, read the directions." My Dad told me this a loooong time ago and I have found it useful over the years. I always scale wiring by the total of the rated max loads and add 25%. I expect that the reason for this statement by National Luna is that the winch serving battery...
