My first was an old Hyster manual. The mast could lift more than the ******** could keep counter balance. There were plenty of times I had 2-3 guys sitting on the rear to keep it on e ground while I loaded crap in my furnace. Lost it ( and a bunch of stuff) in a shop fire back in '93. :(.
My vote is passenger side opening. I e spent a lot of years hauling crap and have been on the side of the highway plenty. I don't like the thought of a rear opening because that means I'm standing with my back to traffic and I. Don't. Like. It. Passenger side opening I can at least keep an...
Funny shaped tear drop?
Seriously though. I look at that photo and feel seriously humbled. I go camping with my pack and hammock, or my van and my dog, and the worst thing I have worry about is running out of milk for my cereal. These guys were SERIOUS. trail blazers. Never been a group...
Hmmm. A 6" lift, some 33's w/Ben-hur wheels, a spiked cow-catcher on the front, steel louvers on the windows. A Zombie Apocalypse urban assault vehicle!

There's a mental picture I'm sure everyone can enjoy. :)
And Mister, that is some of the finest custom engineering, home or otherwise, that I've seen. Outstanding work.
I should probably preface my post the same as Baja but I'm just going to show the same bad judgement anyway..... :)
This is what happens when the wolves rush to defense of the almighty customer.
I don't doubt for a moment the mans top has issues but the public mud-slinging over it has...

One reason is because on some sites you can ask any ridiculous amount of money you want for something and no one is allowed to call you on it. You can have your choir pipe in and crow what an awesome deal it is, and no one is allowed to challenge.
And enthusiast sites tend to be populated...
