If you are talking D-I, 265/75 or 235/85, both 32" will work with +2", a RRC would do better with a 245/75, about 31", and the D-II can go 285/75 or my favorite, 255/85, either side of 33". BFG are hard to beat for sidewall as they are 3 ply. The tire selection will ultimately make more...

These wheels were not horrible structurally, just the finish. We sand, acid etch prime, and repaint. This seems to hold best especially if you use the truck off road. The PC will chip, and then becomes a bugger to touch up. It helps that he is running 6 wheels/tires to always have a 'pretty' set...

I ran into the same issue when I had my '11, and went to 17" factory wheel. You can near save the cost of the wheels when buying tires, and as you know, the selection is much better. Or use them for a second set as mentioned above. I actually powder coated them and kept them when I sold the...

Actually the LR3 wheels will work on a D-II, but the reverse, aka D-II rims on an LR3, will not. Forget the issue- lug nuts I think, but regardless, you cab sell the LR3 18s and easily get your 16s. I have some D-II 16" alloys should you want to trade ;-)

trim the valance as it could get damaged when rubbed. Leave the steering stops, for as you said- better to have the ability to turn more if needed, and this will do no harm.
