It's basically mid-engined....that is why the bed is kinda funky. I don't know how far back the engine is from the stock JK position, but it looks like a bit. It might just be an optical illusion with the forward cab and the fact that the stock JK has a lot of frame in the nose.....

You could always build one from scratch with an aqualu body. Maybe just stick the body on a frame that was modern enough for you?

To put it another way. I have pretty much ZERO interest in owning a 4-door JK.....yet I LUST after the long wheelbase 2-door J8. I can't really explain it, maybe the 4-door just crosses the mommy-mobile line for me or something. I'm picky.

More.... Very cool, I can only imagine what it cost to build.... It's basically mid-engine however, that is why the bed is so high with limited capacity. I would love to be a set of the wheels off the FC concept. They are forged aluminum Hutchinson wheels. I am seeing a LOT more...

With as much as the owner liked it....I probably don't have that much money. I think the builder would buy it from the owner if he ever sold it also.
