    Portal axles basically do the same thing as the Atomic axle. They raise the diff up out of the way giving more ground clearance. You get a few other good/bad things like additional gearing in the portal gear box, the ability to easily add CTIS through the lower axle/gear, etc.

    yup, that is now the WARN red JK I think. It's between a 2door JK and 4door JK in length if I remember right. Its a great idea, but I am trying to stick to an idea where I don't have to do any major body or frame mods :)

    Yes, you should be able to order JUST what you want! Personally. I would love to order a base model sport with the 3.6, 5-spd auto, the stock 2.72:1 transfer case.....and then get the 4.10 geared 'rubicon' axles front and rear. I think that would be a FANTASTIC vehicle!
