    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Thanks. That's the whole appeal of AEVs gear. It has a decent amount of weight in it so it's not as tall as some 3.5" lifts. I might up it to their 4.5 and 37s.

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Thanks! It's the AEV 3.5 SC suspension with 1/2" spacers in the rear, aev hi steer kit and aev drop brackets. 35x12.5x17 BFG AT KO2 tires on stock rubicon rims with 1.5" spidertrax spacers. It's a great set up. Did about as well as the custom 16" coilover set up my friend was running with 37s...

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

Me too! It's mud on the PS wheels. There was a big big just before the first pic. I'm considering plastidipping them tan like that. I'm sure my wife wouldn't appreciate the safari-aesthetics as much. I was going to buy Quadratec's new slickrock beadlocks but they cancelled production on them...

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

The hardest trail I'd run with the new 3.5/4" lift and 35" BFG KO2s was Sherman Pass solo, which Funtreks recently downgraded to a moderate difficulty trail. So I figured it was time to see what the limits of this set up actually are. I headed down to Corral Canyon OHV and Anza Borrego with some...

Pushed the limits of my "Overland" build last weekend in Anza Borrego and Corral Canyon. Time to go back with the wife to see the wildflowers.

33 vs 35s for my XJ Overland Build

For an XJ, 35s seem like overkill especially for an overland truck. I just did some double black diamond trails with an unlocked XJ on 33s. He did everything I could do in my triple locked JKUR on 35s, everything the JKU on 37s could do, and some stuff neither of us could. @BrutalxBob

    TeraFlex Install: NEBO Roof Rack

In the exact same boat. Talking to Teraflex about that. But the intsall is pretty complex. I'm not sure if it'd work. I basically want everything that goes inside the Jeep, and connect it to rails. The Maximus-3 rack is what I was going to get, but just the mounts are $500 and it doesn't seem...

    TeraFlex Install: NEBO Roof Rack

I'm curious to see if I can get their roll bar mounts without the rack. Reason being, that day to day, I have to get into low parking decks and garages. So I'm looking for a rack that I can remove easily, like the Rhinorack track system, but also attaches to the roll bar for strength. my other...

    Expedition Ready 1997 LX450 80 Series

I know right! I always wanted an 80 like this but settled for a 100-series, then another. This one made me look up how much I owe on my Jeep.

    Expedition Ready 1997 LX450 80 Series

Wow this is the perfect 80-series. I wish this had been for sale before I bought a Jeep. GLWS. Also, pm me if you're interested in selling that Columbus RTT separately.

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

I've been meaning to PM you about that. Yeah I've been trying to keep it relatively stock. Or within the limits of the stock parts so I can continue using near-free OEM replacement parts. I learned my lesson on the 100-series. It's very expensive to reverse engineer a truck into something...

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

Thanks for reading. I loved the mix of a tan interior with charcoal grey in toyotas, so I was trying to copy that. Also thought they'd show dust less.

WTB: Autohome med-size Maggiolina or Columbus - Socal - $1500

I think it'd be cheaper to ship. Sure you don't want to come out to Cruise Moab, Overland Expo West, or Easter Jeep Safari. ha

    Autohome US Customer Service Quality?

I can't believe an Italian company has bad customer service. ;)

WTB: Autohome med-size Maggiolina or Columbus - Socal - $1500

I'm not a fan of the design or weight. But I know someone will release a lighter, more aerodynamic, aluminum rtt as soon as I buy one ;)

WTB: Autohome med-size Maggiolina or Columbus - Socal - $1500

If anyone finds a used, semi-local AutoHome Maggiolina or Columbus in size medium, please let me know. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and give a roof top tent a try this year. But I know finding them used, locally is the holy grail of craigslist finds. I'm located in West Los Angeles. So...
