Good stuff. Yeah I read another thread where some people are really hung up on calling it a composting toilet because it's not totally composted usually. I don't think the name implies that it totally composts, just that it is composting.

I agree with that but I also believe that for most environments, it's not a problem. Especially in moist areas, it decomposes fast. I agree with you too. I don't see the point of throwing away the composted or semi composted waste.

Ok good info. I didn't realize it was an aluminum tank. That's ok I suppose. I can understand the price difference in the isotemp unit now as it has a 316ss tank.

Definitely want 110v option with heat exchanger. I like how the whale is configurable with it's heat ex placement and it's a good bit cheaper than the isotherm unit with similar options and size. It will take up more space though. If the isotherm unit is better in some way I will go with that...

Very similar dimensions even though the Whale unit isn't round so it takes up more space really. The whale unit is cheaper but claims more capacity. Otherwise they do the same and have the same options...

My exterior is 100% aluminum skin so no worries there.

I also have a radius in the top roof corners so hopefully something that will bend a good bit. I have seen 1/16" plastic panels that I believe will bend that much

Who uses what for interior walls and ceiling? Planning on FRP panels in my build but I am open to suggestions. We want a couple different colors and patterns and to keep the weight down so those are the main concerns.

Started fitting insulation panels this weekend. Have some more fab work to do for drivers side counter top and cabinet structure then I will start skinning the interior. I am ordering FRP board for the interior as soon as we decide on a color and pattern. Getting close to having a camper it...

Latest progress, I got the first counter top and the fridge shelf structure done. Then I rough fitted the counter top as well. I also built the entry door and redid the pass through into the cab. I will be making a dinner table for the camper that will be shaped like the pass through hole so it...

Just got the Engel fridge freezer. Really nice piece!

It seems counterproductive to throw the composted waste in the garbage. I plan on dumping it in the woods somewhere and spreading it around. Seems like the best approach. Harmless and not burdening landfills.

Also just ordered my first appliance, the biggest one, an Engel 45qt fridge freezer. I am going to build it's platform so it mounts level with the counter top. Came across a killer deal on it too from a friend.
