I like their Hitch Tote as well. Might get one to keep my hitch from beating up on everything else in my recovery box...

Ran across this a few minutes ago. Thought someone out there might be interested. No affiliation with Woot, just love their oddball sales. Never know what you will find.
4 days left in sale (from 02/27/2014) or until sold out. Limit 5 per customer, lol. But hey, at that price it might be worth...
Just read this on Jalopnik's Truck Yeah! - http://truckyeah.jalopnik.com/2014-ram-ecodiesel-throws-down-best-mpg-of-any-half-ton-1516591043/@andrewpcollins
"Ram beat everybody to a half-ton diesel pickup for the US, and their EcoDiesel V6 2WD just claimed top honors for fuel economy in the...
x2 on everything above.
To add to that, the Tacoma would be better if you plan to tow a small trailer often and a Tacoma Double Cab (4-door) would provide more convenient rear seat access for a family, especially with smaller children.
Not dogging the FJC by any means because I love mine...
They could be considered both/either really. Two different rates, rate increases progressively. Semantics, I guess. I was just following IVD's lead as it is their product.
Looks like they're comparable in load-handling, and will probably ride better when the truck is unloaded due to the dual rate design. Back in Dec this was posted on the FJ Forum - http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/icon-vehicle-dynamics/228873-overland-series-rear-coil-spring.html

Amen. My good friend Matt for example...
According to him there were two car posters on his walls during his school days, A Porsche DP935 race car, and an early 80s FJ40. So it was one of his 'dream cars' growing up.
The rest of his posters would be more appropriately addressed on other...
Besides making a platform for a rooftop tent, just adding the upright framework (as shown above) to a utility trailer could allow a canvas topper to be thrown over the entire thing for an 'instant' cabin-style tent up off the ground.
The canvas could be one piece fitted to the entire trailer...
Don't know if it has a thread here on ExPo, but when someone says 'utility trailer build' this one always comes to mind for me - http://forum.ih8mud.com/trailer-tech/561416-utility-trailer-project.html
Do it now, you'll be fine. Got my FJC used with just under 12k miles on it and the spare had never been on the ground. Using 5-tire rotations from then on (I'd say every 6k-10k on average) netted me close to 86k miles on the OE tires. Did they really suck towards the end? You bet they did. But...
Which vendors did you talk to? I'm pretty sure that Toytec uses those very springs with 5100s at least for 2nd-Gen Tacos & FJ Cruisers so you might want to ask them.
Send an email to info@toyteclifts.com and ask specifically about using these springs on 5100s on your '97. Their response times...
