Starting my 1949 willys wagon expo build

Awesome! I have subscribed and will be watching this build closely. I agree with you that the Wagoneer frame and axles will be a terrific swap. I used an 84 Wagoneer frame, axles, suspension, and drivetrain for a Willys Pickup a few years ago and it worked out very nicely. The frames are very...

    Willys Wagon build?

Hey Chris, have you decided on anything further? I am really looking forward to your project. I can't believe how many you have to choose from. I really like your idea of utilizing the original frame from one of the wagons. That's what I did and it worked out great. No doubt a lot of work, but...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Well, I made some great progress on mine this weekend. I got the interior and underside all sprayed with Vortex. It's now mounted to the frame and I can begin putting everything on it. This is going to be the best equipped expedition vehicle I have ever built.

A great story from our local newspaper

Very cool looking Willys. I am in the middle of my own 62 Willys wagon project and I have a question. I noticed that a TJ dash was used. I am very interested in the modifications that were used to make it fit. I measured my wife's TJ dash and compared it to my wagon dash. The TJ is...

    GPS Guidance

Thank you guys for the guidance. There is an amazing labyrinth of different units that all seem very similar. A guy at work said that if they don't specifically claim that they accept topos, then they probably don't. Not many do make that claim that I can see. Topos are a big part of what I will...

    GPS Guidance

Guys, I am a complete newbie when it comes to GPS units and what they offer. Can you experts out there answer some of my basic questions to help get me on the right track? I apologize if some of my questions are very green, but I will openly admit that I don't know a thing about all the...

    Willys Wagon build?

Hey, any chance you would sell me the 3 inner and 1 outer windshield center trim pieces of of one of your wagons? I have a 62, but want to keep the split windshield look of the earlier models.

BBCchris, I can't wait to see your project move forward. You have such a great opportunity with your selection of parts. OverlandXJ, thanks for checking out my build project. Out of all the rigs I have built over the past 20 years, this one is the best. I am having a blast.

Here is my 62 Willys Wagon. It is not quite finished, but coming along nicely. I hope to have it ready for exploring by spring time. It has a 95 5.7L, 4L60E, 241, HP Dana 60 in front, Currie 9" rear. It will have AC, cruise, power leather seats, delay wipers, and all the best adventure...

    Willys Wagon build?

I was searching around to find other cool wagon projects and found this site. I am currently building a 62 Willys Wagon to use as an exploration/expedition vehicle. I thought you might want to check it out for some inspiration. I love these old hunks of American Iron. But I think they really...
