What model are your outer Hella lights? Fog pattern, I would guess...

I'm looking to do something very similar on my ARB but was curious if your Hellas block-out any of your headlight beam?

They're Hella Micro FF, driving beam. They work really well as a fog light too. They do not affect the headlight of the truck they are just of to the side of the trucks headlights and underneath the day time running lights. I did some testing when I got them and found this was the best place for use of light and to keep them away from damage. There also wired into the trucks factory fog light harness.

Nice picture of the snow. It's brutal isn't it? It was plus 24 degrees Celsius here last weekend and now it is minus 11 and very very white. My fingers are crossed that this is the last we see of the white stuff for many months.

X10 on that! I was enjoying working on the truck for the past couple weekends but now everything is at a stand still for a least a week.

any update on boost gauge?

Boost gauge should go in the second closest to the firewall vacuum line that runs off the supercharger. If you looking at the front of the truck it will be on the left hand side right on the side of the charger.

Just got back from the Dyno.

Real world numbers!

I was hoping to get to the magic 300hp mark, but just a tad shy. Tires make alot of difference too, but I wasn't going to swap out tires I wanted the truck the way it was. Engine with a little calculation from the dyno shop is around 355hp at the crank

280+ whp, :Wow1: Nice!

I took a look at the SC there are two tubes on the right, one goes to the brake boots so I don't think those two are the ones you are talking about. But I can't find any other tubes. While looking for the vacume line I notice there is one electric plug that is not connect to anything. I'll take a pic later.

not the one that goes to the brake boost but the other one. :) that where I have run the URD MAP/MAF calibrator and thats the one I'm going to run the Boost gauge on

Ok, got you. Hmm, isn't that a vacume line? How does it get the boost reading? Don't laugh if it's a dumb question..... :peepwall:

No worries, this is my first toyota and my first SC roots style supercharger so I'm learning too. :)

I believe that vacuum is a negative pressure and when you create positive pressure that when boost come into play.

the last thing I supercharged was a 1993 mustang 5.0, with a Paxton supercharger

Here's a few pictures that might help. A few guys have been asking to see under the hood so I snapped a few pictures there too.

Please excuse the dirty engine, its been a long winter. Some of you will notice no under the hood battery anymore, that too has been relocated to the bed of the truck to make room for the ARB compressor and new 3 red top battery hook up that I have been working on over the past few weeks.

Looks pretty snazzy! Especially that URD pulley! :Wow1:

The URD pulley made the the charger have a bit more bottom to mid range torque, a very welcome addiction to the charger and with the added URD MAP/MAF calibrator I was able to lean out the truck on the bottom end to mid rpm for better mileage and keep it a bit on the equal to rich side at full boost and full throttle runs which don't happen very often :) :hehe:
