I might have, I'm just looking for more power to carry gear and pull my trailer. I'm looking forward to trying it out in the desert in this year Baja 1000 as a chase truck.

Started the ICON upper control arms tonight, I broke a coil spring today so I figured since the coil-overs had to come out the upper control arms could go in, I will snap some pictures when its all completed.

Truck looks a little rough sitting on jack stands :smilies27

Icon Ippers Control Arms & New ICON Springs

Well guy it all finished with for now, at least on the front suspension. Upper control arms where pretty easy to install except for the fender bending to get the bolt out, and the new springs are in after the broken one on Tuesday. As well I yanked the front sway bar to to try out for a few days. The suspension sure moves better, a bit more body roll, but all in all I might keep it off. Thanks Tacodoc for that little mod!

Pics!

Bravo! Looking great.

What are the plans for the rear suspension?

Well I I have OME Dakar's at the back with Donahoe Res shocks. I like the set up allot in the back and it can carry a ton of gear in the back with minimal sag. Going to stick with it.

Its funny how other people can spend my money :), I was also told to get a long travel kit on my truck to get all the power to the ground.

Driving impressions

After a couple drives I can't get over how smooth the front suspension is now. The ICON UCA's just bring everything together. Removing the sway bar helps too. If anybody is think about the ICON UCA, get them, it's worth the cost.

Good morning! I'm new to the forum and had a couple questions about your walker evans wheels...

What is the backspacing? 4 3/4"?

And do you have any pictures of the truck from the front or rear to show how much offset the wheel/tire package has relative to the fender flares?

Thanks!

I run a 4" custom back spacing.

Thanks!

I hadn't seen the picture from that angle and it looks great. I am curious why you went with the 4" backspace -- was it due to clearance issues with the factory upper control arms you had prior to the billet pieces?

Do you have any clearance issues with the brake calipers?

And lastly -- do the polished wheels come with a clearcost? I was curious how the finish holds up in northern winters...

Sorry to throw a ton of quesitons at you but I've had a lot of difficulty finding information about these wheels and your help is greatly appreciated!
