Wheels arrived today. Love them soooo much.

Finished the insulation and put up walls. Still need to trim everything out. Flooring is tomorrow. Then it’s time to work on the cabinets and bed system.

Flooring is down now. Needs transition plates. Just about ready to build cabinets.

Holy cow this made a huge difference for noise on my 6.0!!!!

I can now talk at normal volume.

Today I’ll be trimming the front fenders. The rub pretty intensely at the moment when turning.

I also hope to start the interior cabinet framing today as well.

Finished the cabinet structure work. White washed everything and did some trim work. Also recovered the blue vinyl with gray.

Installed and not coming out. Did a temp counter until I pick out a hardwood I like. Also cut the front bed out of a sheet of ply. Looking into foam for all the pads. Anyone ever use https://www.foambymail.com ?

Bed structure completed and drawer installed. Next up is to trim out the interior, finish paint and get the solar and fan ran.

Started making the transition headliner from the front cab to the rear. The ambulance originally had a wall behind the seats. After removing it there were a lot of oddball gaps. This is a semi pliable plastic that will be covered in thin batting and the same grey vinyl we’ve used for the other trim. Hoping this little extra trim work brings it up to a cleaner looking level.

Also picking up groceries is a real treat in this. Soooo much space for activities.
