33" vs 35" JK sahara

Jimbo hit it; rubber for 16s is plentiful and affordable.

Yeah, I did notice that 17" 33's are very pricey.

The wheel/tire combos are also lighter than their 17 or 18 counterparts.

That's suprising.

6) 35" tires -HARD TO BALANCE

I won't think that would be the case with 17" rims, but since most are speaking of 16's, I'm guessing you're thinking the same.

5) 35" tires/W more lift require adj control arms/adj track bars....

Doesn't AEV make a 3.5" & 4.5" lift on stock CA's :snorkel:

Also, I thought 35's could be stuffed under a JK with 2.5" of lift and bump stops.

:sombrero: Heh Heh, you can put 37" tires on a JK with a 2.5" lift, just don't do much turning

Same with 35", you just LIMIT you're suspension travel and you generally can't use the stock bumper, because of interference

This all is governed by the MFG of the 35 and the use of wheel adapters,---some are actually 34" or less installed

2.5" lift is GENERALLY OK for 33" tires, but you can do ANYTHING you want--every jeep is a little different (drivers to)

Good luck

I hear that :ylsmoke:

If I get one, it will get 33's with a budget boost at the most, until it's paid off. I'll likey have to sell my XJ & my DD in order to afford one though. Even at that, I'll have to wait until the new pentastar v6's come onto the used market so I have plenty of time to save up :smiley_drive:
