Still need to tape then jute padding has to go down. May even have to get more carpet didnt plan on doing the back just yet but I got carried away. Looks like I will need to get 8 more rolls of quick roof to finish the interior that will do the roof and in the doors and junk. Think I will go ahead and try to build my boxes Iin the back too......hmmmmm lots of work ahead....

Gonna try and get the front half carpeted today so I can put the seat back in. After that need to pick up some MDF to build new center console and some storage boxes for the back.

Still have a ton of work to do but it's finally getting back to a usable vehicle for the whole family.

Good to see you back on and updating! You are going to love the noise reduction and overall more comfy climate after all that work! Looks great!

Thanks, been real busy the past few months and added a distraction in the form of a 93 goldwing, put 15000 miles on it since May 1st when I got it so not a lot of time spent on Subzila.

Got the front in, not the best install ever but it will work. Now need to paint all the trim, build center console, and build the speaker boxes in the back. Then comes the head liner.....

It is way quieter, even without the middle seat in it was very easy to hold a conversation. Not gonna put the middle row in until I build the center console.

I really dont like working with wood and have really crappy tools for it, and not much skill so that combination usually results is monstrosities for my projects but they work and do what I need.

Very close to what I had in mind so far, plan to put flip up arm rests with small cubby holes under them and some cup holders on each side, prolly 12V or USB on each side too for the kids games and junk.

Just my 2 cents... May I suggest you start with some Birch plywood (Home Depot or Lowes) rather than that pressed wood. Much stronger (mucho more dinero though) and you can sand it. Sanding can erase a lot of ugly.
