Just so you know that is illegal in CA and gives an officer just cause to pull you over (from personal experience) <END SHARE>

Dude I haven't run a front plate on one of my cars in like 5 years.

Illegal: probably.

Likely to cause drama: not so much

Just saying you can get a citation for both having no front plate, or for having an incorrect plate. As for if it will happen it depends on where you are and the attitude of the cop. I've had tinted windows before with no problem, but try rolling into Pico Rivera with them up and see how fast you get a ticket - seriously. License plate tickets happened for me in both Huntington and Newport beaches, YMMV.

Yup, just as I said in my post, I'm sure there's a statute for it, and you're right to bring it up for Garrett's consideration.

Every place I've lived, though, you really have to have the cop pissed off to have him (or her) notice somethin' like that. :coffeedrink:

Sucks about your tickets, in any case, bro.

having no front plate in California or any state issues 2 plates may not get you a citation regularly...but...

you can be driving along minding your own business and you might get stopped and cited for it.. It is a requirement in California to have one. It is one of those little things that can nail you when you least expect it..

Front plates, license plate lights, mirrors, etc.. i can never understand why folks don't fix the little things that are so easy..

Just gives the LEO an excuse to stop you anytime..You want that?

Dude, we lived in Playa del Rey for two years and walked that beach a few times a day!

It's awesome to ride bikes and be so close to the beach!

I got my new bumper mounted up, and finished painting it last night. (painting not pictured)

Did you use tubing or c-channel for the bumper?

I've got a 4x6 piece of lumber as my rear bumper and would like to replace it.

Very nice.

I moved the voltminder to a better position closer to the rear batteries. Very easy install. I'd say a 2 on 1-10 meter since I had to drill a hole.

Have you bothered to use your Dometic? I've been running some non-scientific tests, and aside from 120V shore power, these fridges are worthless.

Did you hook your ARB up to a house battery and just run that?
