Here is a 2014 willys JK200. Its damn near the perfect rig for me and my family. I have this rig, minus the willys package that we can't get anymore, being priced up right now from my Local Jeep dealer who just became a full AEV dealer. Interesting to see if I will cancel my wheel order and just order a complete jeep, or keep my rig now and just add the parts. Depends on trade in value of my Jeep. Where my jeep has so many kms on it, I am thinking they are going to massively low ball me.

Now there's a product worth the cheese.

You are to funny! you ***** about the price of the AEV wheel, and about the weight of my spacers adding "unsprung" weight to my bearings etc and being unsafe because of the extra weight. The Hutchinsons are probably the heaviest most expensive wheels available. Killer wheels, yep, but according to the almighty....They are are not worth a damn because they go against everything you think. You are very hypocritical if you ask me!

The AEVs are beadlocks you're saying? Are spacers beadlocks too?
C'mon, give it a rest already. The grown-ups are trying to talk.

I think he is just saying you are not finding products better AND cheaper than AEV.

your previous statement in that regard is 100% incorrect.

Anything better quality, costs more. everything else is debatable or a matter of opinion.

The IPF lights you mentioned are NOT an AEV manufactured product, so they don't count.

keep growing up.

The IPF headlights aren't compliant with FMVSS-108; a vehicle equipped with them is therefore not legal to drive on the public roadways in the US & Canada.
No, they don't make them; they sell them and charge a premium for them. That leaves the company open to increased scrutiny on their entire product line.

Do they make the wheels?
Not likely.

actually AEV has a beadlock, which are still cheaper than the hutchinsons. You are tooooooo funny buddy! Again, you ***** about weight of 4 spacers being unsafe because they add extra weight to bearings etc. Then, you ***** about how expensive the AEV wheels are then say the Hutchinsons are the be all end all....however I can buy 2 pintlers for one of those.

I think you are the one to give it a rest my friend. Like I said earlier, get out of the lab and into the woods for a change. might clear your head.

Well, instead of the "real" jk200, it looks as if I'm going to have a willys jk200. They just got a trade in willys in granite with 10k on it. Price is only 32k. Good deal. I made the deal to keep my hard top, rbz head unit and they get the Tera flex lift and light bar.

I am sitting in the willya now and it is very nice. Will be even better with the lift and gear.

Actually if you go build an AEV the light option states off road lights. Yes there are much better lights so not sure why they do not have additional options along with better fog light options/light bars They do not brand the lights like they do the wheels. So much is branded for offroad use only that would be acceptable for on road use. Heck I got a LED flasher that said off road use only.

Same for the bumpers, there is NO Directly comparable front or rear bumper. ARB front bumper maybe, but that is all I have seen.
.
When you say this, what exactly do you mean? There are plenty of full width front bumpers that have a hoop and are winch compatible. No doubt the AEV bumper is a high quality item, and a good looking product, but what else does the AEV offer that is special in terms of features? It doesn't even have hi-lift jacking points unless you spend an additional 300+ dollars on the skid plate. The winch plate is also extra money unless you buy from a vendor that sells them as a package.
.
In terms of rear, the AEV offers water storage, but you can't even put a hi-lift on it without an additional optional product.
.
Overall I'd say its a wash. Yes the bumpers are high quality and good looking, but they really don't bring a whole lot more to the table in regards to additional features.

Oh God, don't tell him that. You will be black listed from the Daniel stern lighting police for using non compliant equipment with your flasher. Good luck to you.

This is from drifting around a corner (going to fast) and the rear wheel slammed into a berm on the side of the road. I ended up pulling a handful of rocks out when I pulled the tire off ater the trip. I had a 130 mile drive home... no problems at all.

I loved my pintlers that I had on my LJ. Maybe because I only paid $600 for a set of five!! Thanks Craiglist! The guy I purchased them from was a hardcore rock crawler and cracked tow of the rims. SO (still under warranty) AEV sent him a brand new set. (which he sold to me still in the factory packaging) because he upgraded to the beadlock version. I put a pretty good beatiing on them when I had the Jeep and never had any issues whatsoever. I never lost a valve stem either ;) Did the doohickey on the rim help? Who knows. Judging by the scratches on them, I'd say so?

They have IPF offroad lights and IPF "headlight upgrade" on the JK Brute at my local dealership.
The AEV headlighs are the variety that are non-compliant with DOT (and Canadian DOT) regulations.
The vehicle, as it sits ready to sell, is not legal to drive from the dealer's lot.

The dealers choose their options so if AEV states off road on the order sheet then the dealer chose to add them. I wouldn't run them either especially for the price. I run JW lights on the JK and plan on doing the new truck lite heated ones on the TJ
