Looks like today is the day for the "official" launch.

Overall, I have to say I like it. It's a little more "blunt" looking than the 4th gen but I think it's a good look for the 4runner.
Best of all, from the photos I'm seeing it does appear that we get a manual T-case lever back in the 4runner, albeit at the cost of the multi-mode 4wd (initial reports I've seen indicate that it either has a standard 2wd/4wd system like the FJC, or a full-time 4wd system like the Prado/GX470.)
No V8, although the new 4.0l V6 produces 10 more HP.
Will look forward to seeing/hearing more. Maybe if I keep my 3rd gen in good running condition for a few years I can pick up a used one in 2011 or 2012.
