looks great John
although is white the standard color or is ATW looking at making it a tad more stand outish with color or decals
its not a critisism but in white it kinda looks like a high tech prisoner transfer truck

just a thought

Hey mate.....yeah, you're right I reckon. Planning on doing a lot more with the graphics......and I reckon they should all be FJ Cruiser tan (but not that beige colour, haha) but doubt too many would add the cost of a cab repaint....our FUSO will probably be the next completed, so we'll see what everyone thinks of that colour which is closer to a Landrover "Kalahari Sand"....hahaha.

off course after seeing this Alan will be kicking himself because he painted his truck beige and not that cool desert tan

Yeah...if I ever get it back on the road........rebuilt the KTM forks last week and fitted them up to the triple clamps....now chasing an axle and hope to pick up some custom Warp9 wheels in the US in May. Yippee.

A couple more specs........twin OEM fuel tanks give a combined 280 litres so the theoretical range should be somewhere between 1400 and 1600 kms I guess. There is a 200 litre main water tank above floor level (for insulation reasons) and a separate 90 litre tank sits above that. 85 litre black tank and 85 litre grey tank with separate macerator pumps to evacuate them.

Congratulations, John. Good to see the successful unveiling; I know you've worked long and hard on it.

Too soon to ask about export plans?

sweetness.

Is this the one sportsmobile will be offering?

Hi Leon,

The plan at present is to send bare modules over to Sportsmobile....so that they can be dropped on to US FG's and fitted out with US components and labor.....the LHD requires a couple of different molds, the floor being the main difference but the outside will be the same as our Australian model.......so yes. They will look very similar.......there is still a lot to do before this is ready for the US market but it is definitely coming.

Regards John

Hi Mike...... so good to hear from you.......thanks but there was a big team, on this and 4 other guys in particular who worked extremely hard on this project especially in the last couple of months. Our general manager, our head electrician, one of the boat builders and our CAD designer.

Mike...don't suppose you are planning to head to OvEx this year are you?
