. It's going to be "Cloud Grey" which should have that military look about it......Stu's prison van comment has merit I reckon but repainting cabs to colour match costs too as you'd know and believe it or not almost every enquiry is for plain white.

people wanting white vehicles has always had me bemused
unfortunately Mitsi only do white
Im thinking if I was going to splash out the big bucks for a custom built rig like the GW, the last thing Id want is for people to think I got it at the government auctions from the Dept of Corrections :)

Love the desert tan, cant wait to see the cloud grey all complete
although you now what would make the cloud grey look great
a set of shiny bling alloy rims

In the States they get a choice of colours, but we just get white.
I'm not against white personally, but if I would have had a choice of colours when I bought mine I am pretty sure it wouldn't have been white...

My 2 cents... I love the brown military Isuzu you posted recently somewhere

???? Sure it was an Isuzu????....oh yeah...that was an Malayasian Army FTS ....very cool. I don't actually know if they are in service...that vehicle may have only been a prototype for suitability testing. I'd like to know more about that one too.

Regards
john.

Hi, Thanks for correcting my dictionary blackduck ;) Colors: Found something of interest on the U.S. spec Mitsi http://www.mitfuso.com/en-US/Canter-Work-Truck-Models/FG4X4 ...cab colors that may be orered at no extra charge are listed as follows:Arcadia Silver,Natural White,Jupiter Green,Mars Red,Shannon Blue,Solid Black...no similar offering for Oz? btw Checked with Maine's DMV (dept of Motor Vehicles) and the following motorhome vanity plates are available...'WARRIOR'...'ATW-GW'...or if I go with the white...'PRISONR'..would be one happy prisoner but the limit is 7 letters:ylsmoke: Regards, Dean

LOL... White does reflect heat well, and I personally like white but only if the vehicle has trim colors/wheels to offset the giant vanilla look of an all white vehicle. The vast majority of US RV's are white...just promise me that ATW will never ever emblazon the GW with swirling vinyl tape graphics that make RV's look like cheap attempts at replicating the interior of a Las Vegas cathouse.:smilies27

In OZ we call them personalised number plates
Ive never heard them called "vanity plates" but I love the phrase
speaks tons for the people that fit them
In saying that I have them on my truck and bike
strangest thing is you'll be standing with someone who says "which ones yours"?
well that would be the one with "STU" on the plate
shows how much value for money you get out of them - no one notices
