All Terrian Tires

I'm running Nitto Terra Grapplers (285/75/16) on my Jeep and while I only have about 5000 miles on them, so far they are great. Still trying to zero in on the best tire pressure though.

Even though I've had great experiences with BFG KO's, I may try the TrXus MT from Interco next, just because of their excellent snow reviews and price point.

Or I may go balls out and for the same $$$ as the KO's, I might try the Mickey Thompson MTZ -

I had the TrXs MT on my Rover for a few thousand miles before I sold it and thought they were a great tire. With all the siping they handled very well. As to wear, I'm not sure as I sold them and it before too many miles passed.

Good to know Jeffry. How are you liking the BFG muddies?

My KO's have about 32K on them. I'll probably swap them out between 35K and 40K, not because the tires are toast, but so I can maybe get $100 for them in the Thrifty Nickel, to go towards my next tire purchase.

Forgot to mention we had a set of Toyo AT's on our DD/kid haulin' 4Runner for awhile. We liked them a lot too -

Since this is my first post on this forum, this could be taken with a grain of salt!

I have been running the Yokahama Geolander AT+II on my 2500HD for 18 months. (12k miles) and I have to say I love these tires (285/75/16).

I have/had many different tires/vehicles like most here and these are (my opinion) quiet tire that grips very well in mud & snow.

I use this truck for camping, trail driving, towing campers, cars and for long road trips.

Not pointing any fingers, but I wish people would stop recommending the Yokohama Geolander AT+II since they have been discontinued and we can't get them any longer. From what I understand the AT/S is a very different tire and I don't know anyone who has run both. Is there a secret stash where people are still finding them?

Anyone running Firestone Destination ATs? I'm currently running Destination MTs and will be going back to an At tire in the next few months. From what I've read on the internet they seem decent but any opinions here would help. Plus I can get 4 tires out the door for $528 including the road hazard and tire rotations every 6k miles. Kinda hard to pass on that but I'm still not sure.

I thought they were going bye-bye, too.

I was wishing they would go away. The only set of AT tires I have owned that I liked less than the BFGs was the Yoko geolanders. Noisy as all get out....slid all over the place in the rain, and didn't wear worth a crap. I put less than 5K on them before I took the loss and replaced them (with BFG M/Ts).

Hmm. I've been to a few Discount shops in Colorado and they aren't even in the system any longer. Only a couple random sizes left on Tirerack.

255/85/16 AT tires. I've found these 3
Dunlop: Radial Rover RVXT
Big O tires: Big Foot A/T All Terrain
Cooper: Discoverer ST and ST-C (these are more between AT and MT.)

Are there any other AT option at this size?
