Just killing time between work and church, no wires are ran, so it's not permanent, but does this look stupid?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433374895.434668.jpg

Honestly?

What are we supposed to be looking at and judging here? I think all stock-height SUVs look stupid, but that's just me - I won't judge...

I wouldn't say stupid, but in this day of molded in this and recessed that, it might look a bit dated in the way they're mounted.

Bikefella and martin have a point. You have fog lights, and the location isn't all that great for durability. Given you're setup, I'd put those in the grille. Say the inner part of the lower row... my two pennies anyways.

I've always questioned putting very fragile lights on a bumper, which is made to...uh, bump stuff.

What about mounting the lights in the grille, set back a few inches, in front of the radiator?

Thanks y'all. Made some good points. There wasn't a lot of foresight on this, I had some cheap $30 lights from Walmart and some holes on the front (probably for a front plate) Just got bored and decided to play around.
They will be moved, maybe to my roof rack, maybe to the rear for when we go camping.
I will see if there is anywhere to mount behind the grille.
As far as the comment on stock height, that will change also, but not much, just enough to clear 31's

I would just move them to the top of the bumper, add some HID and you have a super cheap off road lighting setup. GO one better and put a 2 way switch and have them wired to your high beam and have a great animal spotting setup for next to nothing.

Why do you need them....are the stock headlights not adequate?

Wait, you had the lights and the holes were already there? Light those puppies up!

^^ that's what I was thinking! But I'm realizing I just need to move them.

The factory light work properly. I just want some additional lighting.
