This morning, on my way home from Oslo, I visited a very good friend of mine, who, when it comes to collecting and building cars and bikes, is as insane as one can possibly be....just unbelievable....

So, before I post any more images from this visit.....he just completed another amazing rallye car which is his daily driver, too....

Can you see it? What would it be?

I am not worried...it´s Russia, so worst case I will end up paying too much to strap my little truck onto the deck of a fishing boat and sail over to the US.

Departure is October 2nd or latest October 3rd, which we defined as "Day of the Portal(axle)l" :wings:

Tomorrow I will unveil the 911 hiding behind my 130CC-R, though I am curious what you guys think it could be....just put it in words.....

Wow, very impressive! Is there a link to more 911"E" pics/info?

I have a few more and we´ll take "Rommel" for a long ride early September upon my return from Norway.
Erik builds these 911 Safari and Expeditions all by himself. The Safari he build and raced in the 2007 Transsyberia Rallye was, as René Metge admitted even better than the one original he´d raced in the Dakar.

He doesn´t have a website. He´s much too busy to build 911 Safaris or collect cross bikes....
I will get you a selection of images and details of his Safari and Rommel in a few weeks.

Hi Bill,

it´s a Martial Eagle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martial_Eagle)
It´s the only flying one in Germany, the one in the Berlin Zoo seemingly is handicapped of some sort.
Odin spans 2,4 meters and is amazing to hold watch.
