Another Jerry Can ID thread

I picked up a couple jerry cans from Craigslist for $25. There is no name or any markings whatsoever on it. It looks similar to the Blitz cans but not as cheaply made. It has a 2.25" hole. Not that it really matters, but I'm just curious if anyone can ID them.

look like old school blitz cans (versus nato can). May have been made for the military since the newer blitz cans of the same design use a different lid.

Thanks for the replies. They had some old diesel in them and were a little nasty inside. I cleaned them out with the plan to but a chemical coating on the inside, but found out they already are lined and look like brand new inside. :clapsmile

Look at the bottom of the cans. If they are military surplus, they will be marked with the branch of service. Mine say USCM and 1965 stamped on the bottoms. I assume the 1965 is the year of manufacture.
