Any 100 owners complain about power?

Power breaks things off road, and there are no merge issues with the 4 speed and 35s on my 01. Mountain passes I stay right. Nothing a SC wouldn't cure, but I'd rather be slow on a hill than broken off road.

I am relatively new to the 100 and did sell a Hemi powered Grand Cherokee for the 100. It certainly doesn't have the 'spunk' the Grand did, but the power band feels unbelievably smooth and consistent. The 100 also has 180k more miles on it. As with any vehicle it could use more power, but more power is totally unnecessary to serve its intended purpose.

My 99 is basically stock and I feel it does great, here in Kansas and when I took it to Colorado. A 5th gear would be nice on the interstate to drop the cruising RPM down. I look forward to seeing how the 100 performs off the pavement in the High Country of CO in a few weeks.

I regularly jump between the 80, '95 Jeep YJ and '00 BMW E39 M5.

The 80 is getting more use right now and I take it for what it is, a tractor like Kurt said.

I have no complaints about power. It's not quick by any means but it does not feel sluggish. I think the silky smooth power delivery and smooth shifting help it to feel less labored.
