disappointing to find out our factory 12V outlet isnt sufficient from running a fridge/freezer.... :(

Any idea when you will be taking the truck in for alignment? Still holding off on ordering my OME suspension until I know if new UCA's are necessary...

One of the things I am most impressed by is the broad range of products available from ARB now. You could quite literally open an ARB catalog and outfit a vehicle front to back with little effort, and you would know everything works together. Then just add you personal effects and some camping gear and head out.

Agree, good gear with expanding product offerings. Probably a wise business idea for ARB as long as they stay focused on quality & value, and there is no reason to think they won't.

yeah, i don't get this...

huh? i don't get this. there are a number of other rigs running fridges via the factory 12v—ARB, iirc—on t4r.org (some of whom are members here; jonesyyy in particular, i believe) without any problems.

I am using the ARB wiring loom wired directly to the battery. Installed the outlet on the same panel as the factory AC and 12v outlets in the rear. This was pretty easy to do and I am far from mechanically inclined.

We will probably take it to the dealership Friday or Monday. The truck leaves for the rally Tuesday afternoon.

The dealership that will be doing the alignment for us hasn't run into any issues with OME equipped vehicles, so no control arms will be needed.

Most of the calls our tech department get regarding the fridges not working or setting off low voltage errors are due to factory outlets. Once they hard wire them directly to a battery, no more issues.

Bill finishing up the ARB Roller Drawer system install.

The drawer system is complete! Now where to mount the new ARB Twin Compressor and air locker manifold?

The power distribution block mounted to the back of the drawer system. To the upper left you can see the ARB Fridge Freezer power outlet.
