To truly have the epic trip of a lifetime you need a proper guide.
Climbing Everest is best done with Sherpas, and Round the World Travel is best done with an Overland Certified Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. As rare as that combo is (only a few in the world) I am such a person.
I have a few things on my schedule over the next year but I would be willing to start looking into your travel dates and offer my guide service.
Also as an amputee I can get us through many tough spots based on sympathy yet I am strong & functional enough not to hinder our exploration. And as the winner of the 2007 Expedition Trophy (multi-day, multi-discipline event covering shooting, driving, navigation, recovery, cooking/drink prep and all other aspects of overlanding) I have proven myself in tough, remote and stressful times.
And just so you have a comfort of mind and body I am a Wilderness EMT and ICU RN, so I will be able to put together a med supply list and work with your primary care Dr. by Sat phone.
Having setup a number of vehicles for major Expeditions (like the Continental Divide Expedition) I would be happy to consult with Icon (met those guys a couple of years ago) on your build. Best not to post too many of my ideas publicly as you don't want to have your security or safety effected.
Lastly I am a fluent Spanish speaker (have can get by in Portuguese & Italian) so that will help with quite a number of our travel locations.
Please let me know where I can send my full CV and prepare for a classic grand expedition.
