Aussielocker.com FTW1!!11!!! Dave, I'll see if I can catch that wiley bugger next time he comes around the house. He's going to be making a few trips by here in the next couple weeks!
I daily drove my Truck with an Aussie Locker for nearly 20,000 miles before I sold it. The Aussie gave me zero trouble, always locked when needed and was very easy to learn to drive with.
I experienced no irregular or rapid tire wear. Even with MTR's and BFG MT's.
For the 260.00 bucks it can't be beat.
Both of my 4Runner's have rear E-lockers and I actually prefer the Aussie over the E-locker in my '87 4Runner.
The Aussie is always ON and requires no maintenance.
When you set up your differential be sure to do your research and torque the living snot out of the carrier bearing side adjusters.
I have set up 2 Aussie's and 1 Lock Right and I can attest to the key of their longevity being that the side adjusters see over 100ft lbs.
