cool. i dig those 4runners.does your job help pay for all the aftermarket parts? if so, does the company or yourself write it off on taxes? sounds like you use your truck for surveying. anyway, lookin good.

You're right on - I'm the owner of the consulting company and I write off the gear for taxes because it's necessary for the surveys. My budgets for each project include 'accessories' :)

Great looking 4Runner John. Can't wait to see it with the rear bumper and all the other goodies.

Hi Brant - good to see you here!

Your rear bumper will definitely provide the complete package to the rig. Can't wait to see the finished product :D

The rig is finally coming together! Things are moving fast now, but I've been planning this for, well, years.

Initial impressions:

The ARB bumper is very well made and is a quality product. The install took a little longer than most writeups I've seen (I'm slow), but was relatively straightforward. It rides very solid after assembly.

I'm also very impressed with the Goodyear MT Kevlars. The size is 255/75R17. I trust the brand for their offroad capability and reliability. The icing on the cake is that they drive very well on the pavement. And they're quiet! They are about half as loud as my previous Maxxis Bighorns, and much less 'swervy' on the highway. They were pricey, but I'm very happy with the choice.

Looking great, coming together very well!

Do the sliders come in a bolt on verison and/or can you get them with a flat top to act as a step?

I'm not sure about bolt-on or flat top sliders, but I'm sure the guys at Armorology would have no problem fabricating something to accommodate your preferences.
