Fill the space (that was filling with water) with crumpled up newspaper, park in the same spot, turn on the sprinkler for a couple hours, and check the newspaper?

As an all-weather motorcycle rider, NOTHING is waterproof if you add enough wind.

Wind will push water a long ways uphill.

interesting.. .. full speed ahead
I have determined that with the roof up & the soft walls vertical, there are no leaks at all, wind or no wind.
both of these things will help me narrow it down
thanks

Thanks,
but I'm officially done with wood now, all the cabinets are completed, the last thing I had to do was finish the inside of the vanity cab with a mirror & gas strut. This past weekend I finished off the entry step-down with IPE, the riser's permanently mounted there, but the step is just mounted on 1/8" rubber & lays there by gravity (& some suction) & can be pulled out like a welcome mat to shake out dirt & rocks, I also put the carpeting in, yes carpeting, I learned quickly with my four wheel camper that bare feet & wet clammy vinyl floor don't go well together, so I quickly installed some carpeting, & we just brought a little 12 v vacuum with us. In the Bullet, I installed the carpeting with Velcro, so it can also just be pulled out for shaking out or cleaning.
Tomorrow morning we go to the upholsterers for a couple days to get all the soft items done. The last item left to do (before a year's worth of testing & tweaking everything) is the exterior paint.

As it turned out, the water 'leaks' after the last rains, were simply coming in through the opening between the cab & the camper. I hadn't had the boot made yet, & because of the incline on the street, rain simply ran back across the bottom of the cabover, then dripped down through the hole, landing on the dog bed area, & running back onto the floor. That's resolved now as the boot is done, as well as ALL the upholstery.
The last thing left is exterior paint, then we should be ready for memorial day weekend as a maiden voyage

Wow, that looks really sharp! Glad to hear that your "water leak" was a simple fix. Looking forward to pictures of the paint job and the maiden trip.

Holy smokes, that is unbelievable. What a gem of a rig!

How did you make those little cargo nets near the back door?

Thanks & sorry for the delay, Bethany & I went to the east coast for mothers day weekend.
The cargo nets on the rear wall are simple, (really simple because I had the upholsterers make them!) I had Bethany look for cargo nets at thrift stores, (the kind they sell in auto stores to hold grocery bags steady in your trunk, they're about 16" tall by 3' wide, bag shape with bungee across the top) she got three of them for about .25 cents, I chose the one with the best size netting, & gave it to the upholsterers to cut up. Then they made a 1/16" cardboard cutout of the edge shape-then outward 3/4" wide, this was to hold the shape while sewing (they thought of this, not me), then cut out the netting to the outside of the cardboard, cut some bungee (from one of the other two nets) for the top, & sewed 1 1/2" nylon webbing folded over the cardboard, netting & bungee (making it 3/4") & sewed it all together. This got the size & shape to be just right, & held it stiff while mounting it to the wall.

The front dog bed area cargo nets are a simple bungee netting for motorcycle gear, 12" x15" unstretched, bought at Harbor Freight. they happened to be just the size I needed, & the stretching made the shape conform to the back window cutout shape perfectly.

I've got a question, if you don't mind. I am going to start on a cabinet with drawers for my toy hauler. I plan on it being just a simple square cabinet with drawers to match the rest of the interior. It will be mostly a steel frame skinned and topped with wood and white laminate, again to match the rest of the interior.

My question is about your drawers. I do not see anything that will hold them in place. Do you have anything to keep the drawers in place so they don't open up on rougher terrain? Is this built into the drawer slides?

Thanks

Removing or gutting the particulate burner and installing a Bully
Dog or similar "black box" will increase both mileage and power. It is also illegal. A friend has done these mods and says his mileage is about 20 mpg on the highway, which is about the same as my preburner Cummins.

From personal experience with Bully Dog and the Banks company I would avoid both of them. Bully Dog customer experience has been great but every single product I have bought from them has had to be returned, multiple times, or completely failed on me. Both of the guages I have now need to be replaced after less than 5 years of service.

Banks on the other hand is a different story. Decent quality products, but WAY overpriced and the Engineers and sales staff I have dealt with have been the most arrogant, condescending and unprofessional people I have come across in the diesel performance industry. The last Banks engineer I talked to told me I was an idiot for keeping my 7.3L powerstroke because it was a dead platform and all the real performance was in the Duramax so I should go buy one. :Wow1:

This is just my opinion based on my experience. YMMV.
