Buying a new camera: Advice?

Dave you have most likely already purchased the camera with the upcoming rendezvous nearly here. If you purchased from Amazon consider B&H Photo for future purchases. For big ticket items they usually have free shipping and no box store in CA so you know what that means...no sales tacs (sp). :coffeedrink:
I've done some recent comparison shopping and found that BH has been lower for quite a few items. It doesn't get here in two days but that's ok saving some coin. YMMV

Hey Scott, I'm looking to buy my first dslr myself. Besides price was there any other reason why you didn't recommend the t4i? I don't paying the difference and the t4i kit comes with the newer STM lens as well.

I will be using the camera mainly for landscapes n family events. Thanks in advance for your input.
