The light was not on my side this weekend, so not my best work, but still a great camp site!

To quote another great photographer, "It's not only about the photo, it's the outdoor experience"! Besides, I happen to like the photos, full of a story, artistic, and definitive. Often that's all we need

Thanks John! You do have a point, they don't always have to be perfect wall hangers to be good photo's. The story is the whole point of most photographs in the first place...

Some post-OX wandering brought us to this cold, moonlit night in northern Arizona...



...right next to the White Mountain Reservoir—a great out-of-the-way spot with ample dispersed camping.





But, my favorite site on the trip was waking up to see Tonto Basin 2,000 feet below us.

Pretty simple, but here's what I have. I have a fridge in the back of the Jeep, and cook in it is well. I'm a bit of a minimalist as a pack light.
