Looks like a firepit made out of a washing machine drum.. I love those and nothing seems to work better. I have been searching for some time to find one but have not had much luck.

Anyway very nice campsite and it looks like you were able to stay nice and warm :camping:

Yeah washing tub with some old military tent stakes for feet. Worked great. Zam it was colder than heck dude. -7 to -17.... even with the furnace... (running 13 hours straight) we still froze inside the rig at night.

Dang! I have slept in below zero temps before but nothing that low. :smileeek:
I am getting cold just thinking about it.. So where were you camping?

About 30 mins south of the Grand Canyon. I think they broke records last weekend.

here's ours form this week. the only way in or out was through a huge mud puddle. my truck is on the far right with my buddy wes setting up my tent cot on the roof. i slept in the back on an airmattress.

unfortunately it got down into the low 30s and we had no fire due to heavy rains the day before (we brought firewood and even that got soaked through.)
