from the the Hole in the Rock Trail...


if you look hard, you can see the small green Tent-Cot next to the jeep. this was an awesome little rocky spot to camp just a few feet off the trail.

3 of us setup on each level area we could find, all within about 50 feet of one another. there was a dry waterfall just down from camp that dropped of quite a ways and it was neat to walk to. behind me from this point of view were some sandstone domes that let the morning sun stream between them and created these beautiful scenes.

Camped last week at Red River Gorge, KY. It started off raining and cold but finished sunny and cold. Perfect fall camping. We went to all the touristy spots for it was the first time to this area for the kids. It's always fun to see a brown recluse while you wait for your handmade candy. Now, the black cub was new for us.
The Forest dept. has been really pushing proper bear education ever since black bears came back into Kentucky. It's really nice to see, I hopeful that maybe this generation will get it.

Brad, we're fortunate enough to be able to have Mhiscox Expedition Sprinter on loan right now. We trade back and forth between that and our 80 Series/Teardrop combo.
